Clear permissions. Visible decisions.
In practice mode, Dotto doesn't move assets. Live mode will require a separate approval and operate within onchain limits.
What Dotto can see
Practice mode · today
- The practice holdings you enter, stored on Dotto's server and tied to this browser by a private cookie. No account, email or name.
- Ticker symbols you price, sent through Dotto's server to the Robinhood Stock Token API. Amounts aren't sent.
- If you connect a wallet: its public address and balances of canonical Stock Tokens and USDG, read from Robinhood Chain.
Live mode · coming after review
Vault balances and transactions you approve. Not available yet.
What Dotto can do
Practice mode · today
- Simulate trades on your twin. Nothing leaves your wallet and no transaction is created.
- Create a share link, only when you ask, containing only what the preview showed.
- Wallet connection requests your address only. Dotto never asks for a signature, approval or seed phrase.
Live mode · coming after review
Place eligible trades inside limits you sign, enforced by contracts. Not available yet.
What you can stop
Practice mode · today
- Delete a practice portfolio, or all your Dotto data, from Settings. Deletion is immediate.
- Turn any share link off. It stops working immediately.
- Disconnect your wallet at any time.
Live mode · coming after review
Pause new trades, remove Dotto's permission and withdraw. Not available yet.
Known risks
- Simulated fills use quoted prices and assumed fees. Real execution could cost more, or not be possible.
- Reference prices can be delayed. Dotto blocks practice trades on quotes older than your rules allow.
- Market sessions are estimated from the US market clock; exchange holidays aren't modelled.
- Your portfolios are tied to this browser's cookie. Clearing cookies disconnects you from them; export from Settings first. There's no account recovery in this release.
